Leggy has commenced her full moult to 6th-winter plumage which is indicated by the shedding of the two innermost primaries of each wing. The eight outermost primary wing feathers are old and worn, but will be shed and renewed in stages ( so that flight can be maintained throughout ) over the coming four months.
